Job Description

Deià Pediatric Therapy is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy company located in Miami and is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The COTA's role is to provide direct, quality, occupational therapy services to an established caseload, as well as provide clinical expertise and leadership within their scope of practice to the rest of the clinical team. This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual with expertise in pediatrics to grow and further develop a proven program, and to mentor therapists new to the field. The successful candidate will deliver professional and clinical expertise and work collaboratively with a high-performance management team.

Work Location: Miami Lakes, Hialeah.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized treatment based on plan of care.
  • Create daily SOAP notes based on treatment sessions.
  • Follow and deliver lesson plans to target goals in a fun and innovative manner.
  • Provide parent feedback and collaborate with team on progress.
  • Collaborate with other team professionals regarding client’s progress and/or needs.
  • Attend workshops or supervisory meetings.
  • Conduct occupational therapy in a professional manner.


Job Requirement:

  • Must have a Florida Dept of Health License as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • CPR: Healthcare Provider.
  • Pediatric experience is required.
  • Fluent English and intermediate Spanish required.
  • Florida Driver's License.
  • Willingness to drive to nearby schools (2-3 locations maximum).
  • Will require fingerprinting.
  • Reliable means of transportation.
