JOB SUMMARY

Client located just north of Concord, NH is searching for an Interim Controller/Finance Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This is a HYBRID opportunity that will require 4 days in-office with 1 day remote.
This opportunity is a 3-6 month contract with potential to convert to a full-time position.
Manufacturing experience is a MUST.


Job Summary:
Managing a team of 2 direct reports, the Controller/Finance Manager will lead financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions to support operational efficiency and profitability in the manufacturing sector. This role involves collaborating with different departments to meet financial targets and help in strategic decision-making. The role is a blend of cost accounting, financial statement preparation, FP&A, KPI's and business partnering.


Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis

• developing financial models
• analyzing production costs and variances

Budgeting and Forecasting

• preparing annual budgets
• capital and operational expenditures

Reporting

• Produce financial reports for management, highlighting key metrics related to manufacturing performance
• Preparing a multi-week Cash Flow forecast

Cost Management

• Analyze and track costs associated with production processes and supply chain operations

- Implement cost control measures and monitor the effectiveness of cost- saving initiatives
