Job Description

We are seeking a visionary Executive Director to lead the High Net Worth (HNW) Card Product team, with responsibility for driving growth, innovation, and international expansion for our HNW customer segment and the J.P. Morgan Reserve card portfolio.

As an Executive Director, Card Product Strategy Lead in the HNW Card Product team, you will define and implement new products and features for HNW customers globally, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Corporate Development, Risk, Operations, Wealth Management, and international teams. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategy for international market entry, product innovation, and the design of a differentiated servicing model for international HNW customers. This role requires comfort operating in white space, identifying new opportunities, and managing complex stakeholder relationships across regions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of product line strategy for HNW card products, leveraging industry awareness, competitive insights, market research, and customer segmentation analysis across domestic and international markets.
  • Drive international expansion initiatives, including market assessment, entry strategy, regulatory considerations, and localization of product features and servicing models.
  • Define and implement innovative new product features and enhancements tailored to the needs of HNW customers globally.
  • Develop and execute strategy for international customer servicing models, ensuring a differentiated and seamless experience for HNW clients in multiple regions.
  • Analyze customer feedback, market dynamics, and P&L economics to inform product decisions, prioritization, and pricing strategies for both domestic and international portfolios.
  • Lead and influence large, cross-functional working teams-including international stakeholders-to deliver on the product roadmap, value proposition, pricing, and business case development.
  • Develop materials for Business Reviews with executive leadership and other forums, crafting a comprehensive story of the High Net Worth Card Product strategy and international growth.
  • Build and manage relationships with key international stakeholders, including internal partners, external vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Operate effectively in white space, identifying and pursuing new opportunities for growth and innovation in both established and emerging markets.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 10+ years of financial services product management, product strategy, or consulting experience, with significant exposure to credit card or payments industry and international markets.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading international expansion initiatives and developing global product strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills to develop fact-driven and financially sound business plans.
  • Proactive, strategic, and results-driven, with the ability to manage and clearly communicate complex initiatives to define value propositions and mobilize large go-to-market teams.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence large teams of cross-functional internal and external stakeholders, including international partners, and drive business results while demonstrating strong collaboration, relationship, and project management skills.
  • Comfort operating in white space and driving innovation in ambiguous environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Customer-obsessed, with experience translating customer insights, P&L dynamics, and data analysis into product strategies for global markets.
  • Experience working with High Net Worth clients and/or in luxury goods & services, with a strong understanding of international customer needs and preferences.
  • Experience managing international stakeholder relationships and navigating cross-cultural business environments.
  • MBA preferred.
