Location: Pittsfield, MA
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time contract assignment within a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The OT will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic care aimed at improving functional independence, mobility, and quality of life for residents.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate residents to determine functional status, therapy needs, and individualized goals.
Develop, implement, and update patient-centered treatment plans in accordance with clinical standards.
Provide therapeutic interventions focused on improving ADLs, strength, mobility, cognition, and functional skills.
Document all evaluations, progress notes, treatments, and discharge summaries accurately and on time.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including PT, SLP, nursing, and social services.
Educate residents and families on treatment goals, safety protocols, and home exercise programs.
Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to patient outcome improvement.
Maintain therapy equipment, ensure safe working environment, and comply with regulatory standards.
Perform additional clinical duties as required by facility leadership.
Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of assignment.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or similar setting preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
Must pass required background checks and health screenings.
