Manage the production team in the day-to-day performance of their job duties.
- Plan and establish staffing requirements and production work schedules to support customer deliveries
Support the integrated product teams and production schedules (dispatch) prioritizing workload and schedules. Update the team and track progress against the production plan
Provide production process analysis and recommend solutions for process improvements
Work with the engineering team on production sequences to maximize productivity
Ensure that department/project milestones are met
Work with other departments to ensure the flow of materials and parts are received when needed.
Provide input regarding hiring, training, and other personnel related decisions
Handle disciplinary situations within the department
Perform mid year and annual personnel evaluations for the team members
Administer Company policies and procedures
Adhere to approved budgets
Assist in providing a safe and healthy working environment for the team
Focus on quality performance and continuous improvement
Read and interpret blueprints to direct build and advise on requirments and reduce rework/scrap
Develop training plans for the department to improve flexibility/efficiency
Recommend shop floor flow modifications to enhance production efficiency
Other job-related duties as assigned or as necessary
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
* Background in composites/manufacturing environment preferred
* Oracle/MRP experience/familiarity
* Experience in fast paced production environment
* Previous supervisory experience
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Experience with Microsoft Office applications
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
4 year or equivalent work experience required. Experience in a Manufacturing environment and/or Composites. 2 years experience in leadership/supervision role.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $66893 - $113693
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
