Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Quality Assurance and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production processes to maintain compliance with company standards.
- Assist in training new employees on production procedures and safety practices.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, providing insights to management on performance and challenges.
- Address any production issues promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Previous GMP experience within a production environment required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve production efficiency.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
